Bookings and Retainer Fees
All sessions must be secured by cash or the following payments: CashApp or Paypal; in the amount of 50% of the total session price at least 1 week before the scheduled session. Retainer fees percentages may vary for special promotions and deals. The retainer amount will be applied to the overall session cost and the remaining balance must be paid via cash, credit card, or CashApp, or Paypal on the day of the session.

​Booking details cannot be changed (i.e., if you book a particular amount of looks, that amount looks must be shot). Looks cannot be split across days/ multiple sessions. If you arrive attempting to change booking details you will not be able to shoot. Your shoot may be subject to cancellation and loss of deposit.

​You must book your shoot within 45 days of payment. If you do not book your shoot date within 45 days of payment, your shoot may be subject to cancellation and loss of the retainer fee. There are no refunds.

Guests
​Outside of individuals essential to your session (hairstylist, make-up artist, etc.) are allowed. You may bring one guest, preferably female. If you arrive with more than one guest, you will not be allowed to shoot and your shoot may be subject to cancellation and loss of retainer fee. If there is a need for more than one (1) guest, it is recommended that be communicated at least 1 hour before the session.

Proofs, Edits and Turnaround Time
Services are available in digital format only. Online Proofing will be available in 1-2 business days of shoot completion. You will receive 3 edits (per look) of your choice, selected from the online gallery of unedited photos. Additional photo editing is $20 per photo. Ask about the bulk editing rate. Photo edits will be available with 10 business days (from the date you choose photos to be edited). All images will be provided in a hi-res jpeg format. Expedited/rush editing (1-3 days is available for a $250) fee.

Time and Arrival
​The client must arrive on time. If you are late for your scheduled session time, a late penalty will be issued. If you are 15 minutes late, there will be a $50 penalty; if 30 minutes late, there will be a $75 penalty; if 45 minutes late, there will be a $100 penalty; if 1 hour late, the session will be canceled and you will lose full payment. If you are late, the session will only last the remaining minutes of the scheduled session.

Styling for Session
​Hair and make-up are not included but are available for an additional cost. Ask about additional services before booking. Please come ready to shoot. Early arrival for preparation is permitted. Please advised if this is needed, as it requires additional booking time in the studio. 

Cancellations
​All appointments that are canceled due to an emergency may be rescheduled. If the second appointment time that was made is canceled for any reason the client will lose the deposit that was made. If an appointment is canceled, the client has up to 2 weeks to reschedule or they risk losing their deposit. If a client cancels more than twice, then James Williams Jr Photography reserves the right to not make any further appointments. There are no refunds.
